Murder Mystery Dinner Parties are typically three hours long and take place during dinner service. A two-month minimum advance notice is recommended for scheduling. The event includes décor setup and takedown, a party facilitator, all clues and storylines, a 5-course dinner, and non-alcoholic beverages. You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages, and glassware is provided.

Murder Mystery Dinner Party: $70 per person

Exclusive Manor Rental: $1500-$1700 per night (includes all seven guest rooms, full access to common areas, the patio with firepit, gazebo, and a gourmet breakfast each morning)

How It Works

Pick Your Theme – Choose from an exciting list of mystery settings, including Victorian, Haunted House, Shipwreck, Trailer Park, Western, Roaring ’20s, Casino, Hollywood, Mardi Gras, Sci-Fi, Disco 70s, and more!
Assign Characters – Each guest will receive an invitation, a character description, and costume suggestions to bring the story to life.
Enjoy a 5-Course Dinner – Savor a chef-prepared five-course meal in the Manor’s elegant dining room while the mystery unfolds.
Solve the Crime – With clues, storylines, and props provided, guests will work together (or against each other!) to solve the mystery, making for an evening of laughter and surprises.

“Our Murder Mystery Dinner Party at Maple Hill Manor Bed and Breakfast was simply perfect. From beginning to end, every element of our event was meticulously choreographed and supported by Catherine and her staff. We were able to choose from a variety of mysteries cast in different periods and venues. Once we made our selection, Catherine emailed everyone the invitations, including their character descriptions and costume recommendations.

When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and given a tour of this magnificent estate. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, and our guests had a great time touring distilleries, dining, and antiquing. On the night of the event, we all gathered in costume and were instructed on the rules of the game. For the rest of the evening, we enjoyed cocktails and a sumptuous meal prepared by Catherine and her staff. The game was engaging and fun for all.
